What it’s about 
We are currently recruiting a Country Manager Benelux, based in our office in Paris to lead the business development and marketing activities for Cambridge English Exams in all the Benelux countries, but principally in the Netherlands. The Benelux is a fast growing market and an exciting opportunity for the successful candidate to ensure that we fully exploit the market potential in key segments. The Country Manager Benelux will work as part of an extended team within our Europe region.

What you’ll be doing 
• Develop the business plan for the Benelux area in conjunction with the Regional Commercial Head and deliver on revenue growth targets within agreed budgets 
• Hold overall accountability for the sales function in the Benelux, with extensive travel to new and existing customers, driving the sales process 
• Support other functions in the territory; conduct marketing activities in collaboration with the Senior Marketing Manager, work with the Recognition Manager to gain maximum recognition in country and with Network Services to support centres and customers 
• Develop relationships with key stakeholders in the country including institutions, government and exam centres. 

What we’re looking for 
You will have a relevant graduate qualification, be proactive in your approach, and passionate about the educational opportunities unlocked by access to international certification. Excellent communication and presentation skills are essential as well as the ability to think strategically and to develop on-going relationships with our stakeholders. 
You need native speaker proficiency in Dutch and to possess an in-depth knowledge of the educational system in the Netherlands. Proficiency in English at minimum C1 is required. You will be experienced in working in a business development environment and have a track record of achieving business targets. 
Experience of marketing is desirable, as is knowledge of Cambridge English products and services.
